Election Dispute Hearing: MK to Examine Anies-Muhaimin's Witnesses and Experts Today

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Constitutional Court or MK will examine witnesses and experts submitted by the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar camp in the 2024 presidential election dispute hearing today.
The Anies-Muhaimin National Legal Team arrived at the Constitutional Court Building at around 07:30 a.m local time. Today's hearing begins at 08:00 a.m.
According to the Constitutional Court's official website, today's hearing will concern "Evidence of the applicant (listening to the testimony of the applicant's experts and witnesses and the ratification of the applicant's additional evidence)."
Based on Tempo's observation, eight constitutional judges-minus Anwar Usman, who has been banned from being involved in the election dispute-entered the courtroom at exactly 08:00 a.m.
Chief Justice Suhartoyo then took attendance of witnesses and experts presented by the Anies-Muhaimin team. There were a total of 11 witnesses and 7 experts.
One of the experts presented was regional autonomy expert Djohermansyah Djohan. The Panel of Judges took the oath of the witnesses and experts at around 08:09 a.m.
