TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) and PT Jasamarga Jalanlayang Cikampek (JJC) have added lanes to the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road. Both companies have started to implement integration tariff adjustments on both toll roads since 00:00 on Saturday, March 9.
The longest distance open system integration toll adjustment applies to the Jakarta Interchange-Cikampek Toll Road and the MBZ Flyover. For Class I vehicles, the toll will be increased from Rp20,000 to Rp27,000. For Class II and III vehicles, the toll will increase from Rp30,000 to Rp40,500. And for class IV and V vehicles, it will increase from Rp40,000 to Rp54,000.
PT JTT's VP for Corporate Secretary and Legal Affairs Ria Marlinda Paallo said that the tariff adjustment is to ensure a conducive toll road investment climate, as well as to maintain the confidence of investors and market players in the future toll road industry in Indonesia.
"This is also to ensure that the service level for toll road operators remains in line with the minimum service standard (SPM) for toll roads," Ria said in a written statement on Tuesday, March 6.
In order to meet the minimum service standards, Ria said the company has implemented a number of improvement measures, including rigid pavement reconstruction, scraping, filling and overlay, maintaining the number of safety unit fleets, painting markings, controlling queue lengths and transaction times. The company has also cleaned up channel sedimentation, expedited obstacle clearance, and monitored travel time.
This adjustment of the integrated toll for the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road and the MBZ Flyover is in accordance with the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Decree No. 250/KPTS/M/2024, on for the adjustment of the integrated toll for the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road and the Jakarta-Cikampek II Elevated Toll Road. The decree was issued on February 2 this year.
According to Law No. 2 of 2022, the adjustment of toll rates is carried out every two years. Evaluations and adjustments can be made if there are additional issues outside of the business plan that affect the feasibility of the toll road investment.
