TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A visa is one of the official documents required for a citizen to enter another country. It is an entry permit that can be obtained through a consulate general or foreign embassy by submitting an application along with a passport as personal identification.
Although it is an essential document, some countries do not require visas for foreigners wishing to travel or work in their country. There are also countries that have a visa-free policy, visa-on-arrival policy, and an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) for Indonesian passports.
