TEMPO.CO, Tangerang - The Soekarno-Hatta Immigration Office Class I Special announced that people whose names are Bhumi, Pura, Wira, and Wibawa are eligible to get a free passport through a competition held in commemoration of the 74th Immigration Service Day.
“The four words are chosen because they are the sasanti (name) of the immigration, Bhumi Pura Wira Wibawa, which means authoritative guardian of the state's gates,” the immigration office’s spokesperson Bambang Tri Cahyono said in a written statement on Tuesday, January 30.
The contest for the free passport was held on Soekarno-Hatta Immigration's Instagram from January 24 to 26. “We hope that people will increasingly understand the role of immigration in supporting the security and prosperity of our country,” Bambang added.
A total of 23 people participated in the competition and three of them were selected as the winners. They have Pura, Wira, and Wibawa in their names and receive polycarbonate e-passports, which provide greater security and convenience when traveling internationally.
Wira Wijaya, 17, is one of the winners who received the free passport with sparkling eyes and a happy smile. “I'm very happy to have won this competition, especially since the prize is a free limited edition polycarbonate passport,” said the young man, adding that he would first use the e-passport to travel to Japan.
