TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The weather forecast issued by the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency, or BMKG, showed that the Jakarta Greater area or Jabodetabek, which includes Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi on Saturday, December 30, would be cloudy in the morning with the potential to rain at noon.
Jakarta
This morning, thick clouds covered all Jakarta area. At noon, West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta were forecasted to rain with light intensity, while other areas would still be covered with thick clouds.
Jakarta's weather at night will return to be cloudy. But in the early of the next day, rain will fall on West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, and South Jakarta.
The temperature in Jakarta today is around 24 and 32 degrees Celcius with the humidity at around 80-100 percent.
“Be aware of the potential rain with lightning/thunder and strong wind in a short duration that can occur in South Jakarta, East Jakarta, and West Jakarta at noon,” wrote BMKG on its official website.
Bogor
Sunny and cloudy weather was predicted to occur in the City of Bogor and Bogor Regency which includes Cibinong, Gadog, and Cisarua. At noon, rain with lightning is also expected in the areas.
The temperature in Bogor is at around 19-33 degrees Celsius with a humidity of 70-95 percent.
Depok
In Depok City is also the same. This morning, the BMKG forecasted that the weather would be sunny but at night rain may fall with medium intensity.
The temperature in Depok is 24-33 degrees Celsius with a humidity of 65-95 percent.
Tangerang
BMKG predicted the weather in Tangerang, which includes Tangerang City, South Tangerang City (Serpong), and Tangerang Regency (Tigaraksa), this morning was also cloudy. Rain with light intensity will shower the area at noon. The cloudy weather will return at night and early morning.
The temperature is at around 24 and 33 degrees Celsius with a humidity of 60-95 percent.
Bekasi
Meanwhile, in Bekasi City and Bekasi Regency (CIkarang), the morning weather was sunny and cloudy and rain with lightning could fall at noon. Bekasi will be cloudy again at night and early morning.
The temperature in Bekasi today is 22-33 degrees Celsius with a humidity of 70-95 percent.
