TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Puncak route in Bogor once again implemented the odd-even traffic policy during the Christmas holiday this year. The policy will run 24 hours from Friday, Dec. 22 to Tuesday, Dec. 26.
The odd-even policy will be focused on four-wheeled vehicles such as cars. There are a couple of supervised locations along the road heading to Puncak, Bogor, namely:
1. Heading to Gadog Intersection, Puncak Highway to Lampu Gentur Monument 4-Way Intersection, Cianjur Regency.
2. Heading to Lampu Gentur Monument 4-Way Intersection, Cianjur Regency to Gadog Intersection, Puncak Highway.
Traffic Head of Operation of the Bogor Resort Police First Police Inspector Ardian Novianto explained that other forms of traffic diversion will also be implemented during the Christmas holiday in the area. One of which is the contraflow policy around the exit of Ciawi Toll road, albeit implemented situationally.
"The contraflow policy from the exit of Ciawi toll road to KM-46,500 heading to Caiwi," he said as quoted by Antara on Friday, Dec. 22.
In addition to contraflow, a one-way traffic policy will also be applied situationally based on the volume of vehicles at the Puncak route.
"One-way system from Jakarta to Puncak or Cianjur to Jakarta, starting from [December] 23-26, applied and analyzed situationally," he concluded.
