TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - South Jakarta Metro Police received two more reports on the Coldplay tickets fraud case. "There are two more reports, different [victims] but with the same [crime] method," said the Deputy Chief of Criminal Investigation Unit Police Commissioner Henrikus Yosi in a statement received by Tempo on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.
The previous report was submitted by the Indonesian actress Susan Sameh and her friend on November 14, with a total loss of Rp312 million.
These two reports were submitted after the Coldplay concert ticket fraud involving the actress. According to Yosi, the total loss of the first victim was Rp40 million while the other victim lost Rp1.2 billion. The police have not revealed the names of these victims. However, the method of the crime was similar to the previous reports.
"The [Coldplay] tickets were not available during the day of the concert," Yosi said.
Yosi also believed that the perpetrator in these cases was a different person than the previous police report.
