7 Tips to Ensure Long-lasting Devices

4 October 2023 13:15 WIB

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Having a long-lasting device will help cut down an unnecessary budget. Citing ASDA Mobil, below are the helpful tips to ensure your device is not breaking any time soon:

1. Use screen protector

A device is always at risk of slipping from your grip. One of the fragile parts of a device is the LCD. Thus, a screen protector will help prevent the screen from cracking.

2. Use a case protector

In addition to the screen, the case of your device also needs protection since it's easily cracked and breaks. A case also protects the device from rough frictions.

3. Routine clean-up

Routine clean-up is needed to ensure there are no accumulations of dust and dirt in the volume port of your device. Accumulated dirt will disrupt the hardware system inside the device.

4. Leave the charging device alone

The habit of using your device while it's charging could cause the device to run hot and at risk of destroying the battery altogether.

5. Always check the battery percentage

Don't deplete the batteries of devices and then charge them since it will destroy the battery cells. Charge your device while the battery percentage reaches 25 to 30 percent.

6. Uninstall unnecessary applications

Easing the burden from the device's RAM will maintain the durability of the device. Too many applications will slow down the device and make it less responsive.

7. Update the system

Not updating the system will leave your device at risk of bugs and viruses. Additionally, the users may not enjoy the newest service without a routine update on the device system.
