TEMPO.CO, JakartaOn this weekend of September 9-10, several agendas are set to be held spanning across music and cultures in several Indonesian regions. These include the Waku Waku Festival Vol. 2, Flame Festival, and Kendalisada Art Festival 2023, which can be options to spend your weekend.

Here is the list of this weekend's agenda:

1. Waku Waku Festival Vol.2

For Japanese culture enthusiasts, Waku Waku Festival Vol. 2 is set to be held at Lagoon Avenue Mall Sungkono, Surabaya, East Java this weekend, September 9-10, 2023. The festival offers anything Japanese from music, anime, mangas, and cuisines. 

The festival will feature several artists to perform in the 2-day event, including JKT48 and Kobo Kanaeru. The tickets can be obtained from goersapp.com.

2. Flame Festival

Flame Fest or Flame Festival is a music festival scheduled for this weekend, September 9-10, 2023, at Satria Stadium in Purwokerto. The festival spans several months in several cities in Indonesia, such as Jambi, Banjarmasin, Pontianak, and Solo. This weekend, Noah, .Feast, Hindia, The Changcuters, Yura Yunita, and Winky Wiryawan will perform on stage.

3. Kendalisada Art Festival

Kendalisada Art Festival is an annual international cultural event set to be held at Kalisada Market in Kaliori Village, Banyumas on September 9-10, 2023 with the theme of “Reborn Jagad Rehwondo”.

Involving more than 2,000 artists, the participants will showcase ape costumes, representing hanoman. The festival will also showcase traditional music and culture. Kendalisada Art Festival will feature several international artists from Japan, Spain, Mexico, Vietnam, and Ecuador to perform at the festival. Rodrigo Parejo, the Spain musician, will team up with Indonesian renowned artist Rianto for a performance art entitled 'The Java Spring'.
