TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo is currently on a working visit in West Java, starting from inaugurating Cisumdawu Toll Road yesterday and continuing today, July 12, 2023.
On his second day of visit, President Jowoki plans to visit Cihapit Market in Bandung City followed by observing the facilities provided in Si Jalak Harupat Stadium in Bandung Regency. "In the market, President Jokowi will deliver a number of social welfare aid for the merchants," as released by the Press, Media, and Information Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.
Meanwhile, in Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, the President will observe the facilities and witness the U-17 football national team selection process. The working visit will end with a visit to Nyoman Nuarta Gallery, in Parongpong, West Bandung Regency. After the visit, President Jokowi will head to the Husein Sastranegara air force base in Bandung City to board the presidential airplane Indonesia-1 back to Jakarta.
During his working visit to West Java, the President was accompanied by the Minister of Public Works and Housing Basuki Hadimuljono, Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Agung, and the Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil. The President and his entourage arrived at Kertajati International Airport on Tuesday morning, July 11, 2023, and immediately headed to Cileunyi-Sumedang-Dawuan (Cisumdawu) Toll Road.
President Jokowi also visited Tanjungsari Market in Sumedang Regency and dropped by a coffee shop in the Creative Market of West Java in the evening. The entourage spent the night in Bandung City before continuing their visit today.
