As of now, workers and officers are still makig rescue efforts.
The South Tangerang City Regional Disaster Management Agency Task Force chief, Untung Purwanto, said the landslide occurred in two separate locations.
"The first was at Villa Pamulang in the Harmonia Villa Pamulang Cluster, Block CH 6, Pondok Benda Village, Pamulang," he said when confirmed on Tuesday, April 25.
He said that the houses were quite severely damaged. "There are two houses that were badly damaged in the back rooms," he said.
The second house is located in Sari Mulya, Babakan Village, Setu. This landslide was the result of rainwater runoff from the New Puspitek Road, which caused soil erosion on the cliff above.
He said that for now the road access to the two locations is closed. The incidents will be followed up by BRIN, and the South Tangerang City's Office of Water Resources, Office of Highways, and Office of Construction Development.
"The execution will be tomorrow," Untung said.
