Police Deploy 1,091 Personnel to Secure Raisa's Concert at GBK Stadium

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Metro Police deployed 1,091 joint personnel to secure the female singer Raisa Andriana's (Raisa) solo concert at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Main Stadium, Jalan Pintu Satu Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Saturday at 18:30 WIB (Western Indonesian Time).

"We are presenting all elements, the National Police, the TNI (Indonesian military), then the local government, in this case there is the Transportation Agency and then the Satpol PP (Public Order Agency)," said the Head of Public Relations of Jakarta Metro Police, the Police's Senior Commissioner Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko when attending the Rukun Warga (RW) gathering in Tangerang , Saturday.

According to him, planning and security from the police are coordinated by the Central Jakarta Metro Police.

"For the crowd control, the Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief will be backed up by the Operations Bureau of Jakarta Metro Police. We have planned the security scheme," he said.

Meanwhile, Raisa told the press in Jakarta, Thursday (26/1) that there would be a screen measuring 1,000 square meters for the audience.

"Audiences sitting wherever they are will still be able to see the show. So we don't want spectators who lack access to see all the hard work we've done and then go home disappointed," she said.

Concert promoter Juni Concert previously explained that as of Monday (20/2) Raisa's concert tickets had sold 30,000 tickets.

Juni Group CEO Adryanto Pratono explained that the "Raisa live in Concert" would be the first female solo concert on a stadium scale.

He added that so far stadium-scale concerts in Indonesia are quite rare given the complex workmanship and it's difficult to replicate.

Raisa's concert tickets are also sold for as little as Rp175,000 excluding tax for the rows of spectators in the upper stands.

Meanwhile, the most expensive tickets for the platinum category reached Rp2 million which had already been sold out based on the ticket sales page raisa6690.com.

Raisa performed around 26 songs for about 2.5 hours of her solo concert.
