TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Rain was seen pouring down on the Westlife The Wild Dreams Tour concert at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Stadium, Jakarta, Indonesia on February 11, 2023. Based on Tempo's observation, it started raining in the last 30 minutes of the concert, or to be precise, between 21:15 and 21:45 local time.

The Westlife concertgoers finally put on the transparent white raincoats that the promoter team had given them at the entrance gate. Most of the them were seen wearing the raincoats immediately and continue to enjoy the performance of the four Irish guys.

Westlife Fans are seen wearing transparent white raincoats while watching the Westlife The Wild Dreams Tour concert at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Stadium, Jakarta, February 11, 2023.

The concert actually felt more alive because the fans looked so happy singing their hearts out under the rain. Some were seen jumping up and down, some dancing in the rain at the stadium.

However, there were also those who choose to leave the concert early because of the pouring rain.

Previously, the promoter had been wary of rain during the concert. PK Entertainment Co Founder and COO, Harry Sudarma, said that they anticipated this by providing free raincoats for all fans. "We distributed raincoats to all ticket holders," said Harry on February 10, 2023.

The rain continued to pour on the GBK Stadium area until the Westlife concert ended at 21:45 local time. Even after the concert, the fans continued to take pictures at the various photo booths provided by the committee. They took pictures while still wearing transparent white raincoats as gifts from the committee.

Westlife entertained their fans in Jakarta on February 11, 2023. Their reunion tour in 2019 broke a world record as they managed to perform in front of more than 600,000 fans across 27 countries. The Irish boy band kicked off last summer's concerts by performing all over the UK, including a sold-out headline show at London's most iconic stadium, Wembley Stadium.

Westlife performed several of their hits such as Swear It Again, Flying Without Wings, and Mandy as well as mainstay songs from their latest album entitled Wild Dreams.
