TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Metro Police have bagged the real identity of Twitter user @Ryuchalis, who posted images of a letter insinuating that a bomb would be detonated during the concert of South Korean group NCT 127. For now, the police are not disclosing the person's identity yet.
The police are still investigating the Twitter account and its owner. "We have checked and profiled the social media account," Jakarta Police's PR chief Sr. Comr. Endra Zulpan said on Friday, November 4th.
According to Zulpan, the important thing now is to ensure that the concert venue is safe and under control.
At 9:00 Friday morning, Twitter was shocked by a post from @Ryuchalis showing images of the anonymous letter containing a threat that a bomb would be detonated at ICE BSD, the venue for NCT 127's concert on November 4-5.
Responding to the bomb threat, the police dispatched the bomb squad (Jibom) and K-9 units to search the venue. No bombs nor explosives were found.
Zulpan asked the public not to panic and worry about the bomb threat at the NCT-127 concert. He made sure the police had prepared maximum security.
"Even without this threat, we will secure the event well, the security pattern has been prepared. No need to worry and panic, especially people who have bought tickets."
