Jokowi Inaugurates Trunojoyo Sumenep Airport in East Java Today

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo or Jokowi is on a working visit to East Java. One of the items on his schedule is to inaugurate Trunojoyo Airport in Sumenep Regency today, 20 April.
The president took off from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport at around 07:15 this morning. Immediately after arriving at the Trunojoyo Airport, he inspected and inaugurated the airport.
Another item in his agenda is to distribute social assistance in a number of markets in Sumenep Regency.
From Sumenep, the President and his entourage continued their journey to Sidoarjo Regency by plane from Trunojoyo Airport to Juanda International Airport. From there, he headed to the office of PT PAL Indonesia (Persero) in Surabaya City to attend the launch of Defend ID, the holding company of SOEs in the defense sector.
The President will end his work tours with a visit to Gresik Regency to provide social assistances in a number of locations.
Accompanying President Jokowi on the working visit were Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, SOE Minister Erick Thohir, and Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono.
