TEMPO.CO, JakartaTwo houses in Bogor City of West Java were severely damaged following strong winds that occurred on Tuesday-Wednesday, February 15-16, 2022.

The Bogor Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) head Theofilo Patrocinio Freitas said his team had monitored the location and handed emergency aid in the form of tarpaulin.

“The BPBD personnel team has visited the location to help the affected families,” said Theo as reported by Antara, Wednesday, Feb. 16.

He explained that the roof of one house collapsed when strong winds blew in the area of Kebon Kelapa Village, South Bogor at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

On Wednesday, Feb. 16, heavy rainfall also caused the walls of a house in Sumurwangi Village, Tanah Sareal District to fall apart. This incident occurred at 8 p.m. local time.

The BPBD personnel team had also brought tarpaulins to help the affected families as long as the house repairs have not been carried out. “We have given assistance for the two incidents. There are no casualties,” Theo said.
