TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The West Lombok tourism agency on Monday announced the ‘the Southland Dance’ water festival that is set to support the international World Superbike (WSBK) race at the newly-built Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit on November 19-21.
The water festival will be hosted at the Sekotong tourism area and turn it into an additional attraction for the superbike race. Sekotong is known for its white beaches and micro islands spread across its exotic underwater features.
“Other than promoting the Sekotong area, this event will also be held to enliven the WSBK race in Mandalika,” said West Lombok Tourism Agency Head Saepul Ahkam Mahfudz on November 8.
The water festival slated for November 12-14 will feature musicians, cultural arts shows held over the ocean, bonsai exhibition, diving events, and collectively clean up the coastal area in the area.
