TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - As many as 1,600 Kampus Merdeka students have not received their disbursement of allowance. From around 12,900 Certified Independent Internship and Study (MSIB) participants, only 11,300 have received the allowance of August and September of 2021 that were disbursed in stages since October 21, 2021.
Meanwhile, for the students who haven't received their money of August and September of 2021, they are required to fill in information as the condition for disbursement to immediately be processed.
"It's our responsibility to give their money. For the disbursement to run smoothly, we require and remind those who have not yet got their money to immediately respond and fulfill the necessary information," said Directorate General Secretary of College, Research and Technology, Paristiyanti Nurwardani in the written report on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.
Paristiyanti explained there are several reasons for the late disbursement in August and September for the participants. Among those are: Around 100 students don't have a Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) account nor Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) per the previously socialized rules at the beginning of the programs; about 1,350 entered wrong account number; and 150 entered a wrong National Identification Number (NIK).
She further explained there are two announcements on their behalf intended for students to fulfill the necessary information. The first one is by electronic mail (e-mail) on September 28 till October 8 of 2021, for the students to revise their NIK.
And the other one is by the Official Website of MSIB, Ditjen Diktiristek official WhatsApp, direct phone call by verification team, communications by the person in charge of each group where the internship and studies take place and by the company partner managers on October 6 to 31 of 2021 for the students to revise the wrong account number.
"This state-given allowance is intended for students so they can focus and are encouraged to seek experience, knowledge and networking competence and because this uses the states' budget therefore the information accountability as the disbursement condition is very important," explained Paristiyanti.
MSIB participants who have not fulfilled the information yet, there are three lines for them to ask and inform the data. official email account of MSIB subpokka-micro@kemendikbud.go.
MSIB programs are part of Kampus Merdeka which aim is to offer students the chance to learn and develop themself through activities outside of classes for one to two terms but still are parts of college class.
