TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A patient with coronavirus disease or Covid-19, Nur Aini, currently being treated at Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital today, January 1, held a wedding. The wedding ceremony and reception were held virtually from Wisma Atlet and Mampang Religious Affairs Office (KUA), South Jakarta.

“The wedding ceremony was held at 09:00 this morning, and the wedding reception was also held on the same day at Wisma Atlet,” said a field commander at Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital (RSDC), M Arifin, in a written statement Friday, January 1, 2021.

He explained that the wedding party was live broadcasted through Instagram account @alumniRSDC19_official. The ceremony was watched and helped by officers wearing hazmat suits or PPE.

Nur Aini wore a turquoise wedding dress with flowery decoration as the setting of the event. The nurses also gave the bride flowers.

However, the bride and the groom could not meet as the bride was still in quarantine period at Wisma Atlet.
