COVID-19 Update November 12; Indonesia Logs 4,173 New Cases

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia's number of the new coronavirus disease or COVID-19 infection continues to increase. The government recorded today, November 12, as of 12 p.m. that there were an additional 4,173 infections for the last 24 hours.
With the new cases, the country’s total tally of the disease reached 452,291 since the first cases were discovered on March 2, 2020.
Today’s number of recoveries also rose by 3,102 patients, bringing the total figure of cured patients to 382,084 people. They have been declared cured based on the results of the polymerase chain reaction or PCR tests that turned back negative for the coronavirus.
Meanwhile, 97 more patients died in the last 24 hours. Thus, the death rate caused by the disease in Indonesia has now hit 14,933 people.
