TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Wisma Atlet emergency hospital located in Central Jakarta Kemayoran area reported that there are 1,800 COVID-19 patients up to Wednesday morning, November 11.
Military spokesman Marine Colonel Aris Mudian said the patients are classified into several groups with confirmed cases treated at Wisma Atlet’s Tower 6 and 7 while those under self-isolation are placed at Tower 4 and 5.
Compared to Tuesday, November 10, there are 43 new inpatients as yesterday recorded 1,177 patients. Fortunately, there are 4 who have been released from self-isolation at Tower 4 and 5.
“It was initially 1,177 people. There were 43 additional patients today,” wrote Aris in Wednesday’s statement.
In total, the Wisma Atlet emergency hospital had treated 24,403 patients since the announcement of the first patient on March 23. There are 23,183 who have been released from the hospital since March. The self-isolation facility, introduced on September 15, had accommodated 13,448 people.
