TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Tourism and Creative Economy Minister, Wishnutama Kusubandio, appreciated the virtual shows currently available, especially during the long weekend at the end of this month. Amid the restriction in mobilization during the pandemic Covid-19, Wishnutama said that virtual shows are able to provide positive benefits with the power of entertainment.
"This is the right time to raise and keep the spirit of togetherness alive," Wishnutama said at the AXN All-Stars virtual press conference, Tuesday, October 27.
Wishnutama said he wants the public to unite in spirit; remaining strong and hopeful amid Covid-19 uncertainties.
"Virtual shows are a great opportunity because they can promote creativity, innovation, and tourist attractions, as well as the beauty of Indonesia," he said.
Wishnutama praised and appreciated the cooperation and collaboration between various parties—from musicians, magicians, as well as the media—for their work to bring performances during the Covid-19 pandemic. He hopes that virtual shows can entertain the public during the long holiday whilst providing platforms for young talents and captivating world audiences, in hopes that once the situations allow it they will come to visit Indonesia.
