TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Drone Emprit founder Ismail Fahmi on Wednesday said the big data consulting firm found Twitter users tend to compare the government’s seriousness in handling the omnibus job creation law and the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The distrust against the government’s seriousness upon handling COVID-19 is more dominant,” said Ismail in Wednesday’s webinar.
The Drone Emprit analysis took place from September 14 - October 13, 2020, by monitoring these keywords in Twitter: government, Indonesia, pemprov (provincial government), mayor, regency, and province.
They also announced that tweets from national figures garner many replies from members of the public such as the tweet from Emil Salim who questioned how the government and DPR worked in completing the omnibus job creation law and how the swiftness should be implemented in the coronavirus mitigation.
