TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The immigration system in Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport allegedly underwent technical difficulties as a large group of tourists were stuck in the airport’s immigration checkpoint for up to roughly two hours.
Twitter user @bayuwicak14 uploaded a video showing a number of international tourists scattered at I Gusti Ngurah Rai’s arrival terminal. Some also assembled in front of the immigration counter.
The Twitter user replied to Tempo’s message on Friday, February 21, saying the tourists had waited for roughly two hours. “I landed at around 14:00,” he said.
The twitter account also said that the queue at Ngurah Rai’s immigration has started to move, although no official explanation regarding this incident had been released by the airport's management.
