Keraton Agung Sejagat Cult Suspected of Fraud

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Central Java Police announced they were investigating an alleged fraud by a cult dubbed as “Keraton Agung Sejagat,” and found that the fake-kingdom had lured one of its followers to cash out Rp150 million for the cult’s interests.
In investigating the cult leaders and self-proclaimed king and queen--Toto Santoso and Fanni Aminadia--the police have questioned 18 witnesses and named both suspects of the alleged fraud.
“Based on information from locals one of their followers had even made a deposit up to Rp150 million,” said Central Java Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Iskandar Fitriana Sutisna on Monday.
The police also announced that the cult had requested its followers to deposit payments from Rp3 million, Ro30 million, and up to the latest in Rp150 million. As for the person depositing Rp150 million, the police said they were still tracking down the person to develop the case even further.
“Investigators are still searching for the [funder],” said Iskandar.
Keraton Agung Sejagat coordinator is known to be Wiwik and based on his testimony the cult managed to garner 28 followers.
