Police Investigate Viral Video of Cat Eaten Alive by Man

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Kemayoran Police in Central Jakarta is currently investigating the viral video explicitly showing a man who ate a cat while it was allegedly still alive.
Police are still searching for the identity of the man in question that is believed to be recorded within the area of Kemayoran.
“The location where it happened is still unclear. People say it’s in the vicinity of Kemayoran, but when I asked people they are unsure,” said Kemayoran Police Chief Commissioner Syaiful Anwar when tempo reached him on Monday.
He also said that the way the video was recorded, which was a close-up, meant that there was minimum information or cues regarding its surrounding.
The 55-second video that went viral in Instagram shows a man - wearing a blue cap and chocolate jacket - eating what is believed to be a cat. The caption accompanying the video suggests that the person recording the man was also trying to identify the man.
