“We will immediately coordinate with the agency set for the operation and management of the MotoGP,” Sadikin said, adding that as an automotive organization, IMI is centered to the Federation International de Motocyclisme (FIM).
The main goal of the meeting with ITDC was aimed at coordinating the homologation of the circuit street in Mandalika and preparation of the event, including the training for race marshalls and officials involving locals.
“Our task now is to present the detail data of the circuit as the security requirement, that is the main requirement [to host the event],” Sadikin said.
Meanwhile, the ITCD president director Abdulbar M. Mansoer said that he is optimistic to complete all requirements for hosting MotoGP Indonesia by May 2019.
