TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo or Jokowi held a meeting with Indonesian national under 22 football team (Timnas U-22) who recently won the Asian Football Federation or AFF U-22 Championship today, February 28, at Merdeka Palace, Jakarta.
The young Garuda squad donning red football uniforms arrived at 09:50 local times after a parade on a double-decker bus from Gelora Bung Karno Stadium.

During the meeting, Youth and Sports Minister Imam Nahrawi, the team’s coach Indra Sjafrie, Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) secretary general Ratu Tisha, and the ministry secretary Gatot S Dewa Broto accompanied Indonesian players during the meeting.
Indonesia emerged as the winner of the AFF U-22 Championships after beating Thailand 2-1 in the finals at the Phnom Penh National Stadium on Tuesday night.
