Govt Promotes Indonesian Tourism in Estonia

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Tourism Ministry promoted Indonesian tourism in Tourest Travel Trade Fair 2019 that took place on Friday to Sunday, February 8-10 in Tallinn, Estonia.
“Indonesia promotes various cultures and Indonesian Arabica coffee from Mandailing, Toraja, Bali, and East Jawa,” as noted in a press release of the Indonesian Embassy in Helsinki. A total of 533 exhibitors from 30 countries joined the tourism fair.
During the exhibition, visitors showed enthusiasm toward Wonderful Indonesia Pavillion that presenting a variety of traditional art performances such as Sekar Jagad and Piring dance, as well as traditional music instrument show Sasando in the main stage.
An Estonian blogger and traveler Almer Ansu announced the opening of Turkish Air direct flight from Istanbul, Turkey to Bali in mid-July 2019. Almer promoted Bali as a tourism site that offering beautiful culture and beach and also a healthier life through the Yoga vacation program.
Indonesian Embassy for Finland and Estonia, Wiwiek Setyawati Firman, said that the development of the tourism sector did not merely boost the economy, but also other sectors. “[Such as] a variety of cultures in the world, the protection of endangered animals in Indonesia, rainforest preservation, and eco-tourism,” she added.
