Kaesang Pangarep Shares Business Tips to Gain Success

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The youngest son of President Joko Widodo or Jokowi, Kaesang Pangarep, shares keys to business success on his personal account Twitter. Kaesang posts a suggestion as a response to a question asked by an internet citizen or netizen.
On January 29, an account @Tuhadi14 asks the twenty-five-year-old man about the key to success which the latter responds in capital letters. “KERJA KERAS DAN NGEGAS,” Kaesang replied, which is translated to hard work and ngegas.
The answer can be taken as a serious recommendation and also a joke. Kaesang has proved that his hard work has been paid off.
Amid his status as a final year student in a university in Singapore, Kaesang runs many businesses. In the culinary sector, he has a famous brand of banana nugget titled Sang Pisang in Indonesia.
Other businesses include board games Hompimpa Games, a clothing line Sang Javas, an application that promotes Indonesian culinary Madhang.id, and apparel skateboard Truz.
Kaesang also reportedly will launch a coffee business, which is promoting domestic coffees throughout the country’s region.
In addition to hard work, Kaesang Pangarep mentions that ngegas, a slang word for speaking enthusiastically, is also a key to gain success. According to him, ngegas can be a sales strategy in a bid to attract people’s interest by using capital letters.
