Police Chase 12 Suspects of Murders in Bandara Club

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The West Jakarta Metro Police are in pursuit of 12 people suspected to have been involved in a brawl at Bandara discotheque in Kebon Jeruk last month, October 17. The brawl ended in the deaths of two people.


There are 15 suspects in total, of which three have been captured by the police; Yeremias Waang a.k.a. Berto, Frengki Manu a.k.a Engki, and Julius Umbu Ngailu a.k.a. Boby.


Adj. Sr. Comr. Edy Suranta Sitepu from the West Jakarta Metro Police Metro said that these men were arrested in different places.


Edy said on Tuesday that the other 12 suspects whom the police are chasing are Luis (30), Leo (40), Willy (20), Udin (20), Majer (23), Jhon Morali (28), Max (32), Iden (29), Valdo (24), Jo (22), Edo (37), and Lada (20). According to the police, these men all reside in Tanah Merah, South Kedoya.


The suspects picked a fight in Bandara club, which led to heavy injuries sustained by six visitors. Two of them Hadi Suwito (38 tahun) and Lili Rustandi (44), died.


"The victims suffered stab wounds. Some are still hospitalized," Edy said.
