KPK Identifies Billy Sindoro`s Role in Meikarta Bribery Case

TEMPO.CO , Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission or KPK has identified the role of Lippo Group Operational Director Billy Sindoro in the alleged bribery of the Meikarta project permit. “It has [been identified], but could not be stated yet,” said KPK spokesman, Febri Diansyah in his office on Wednesday, October 17.

KPK had also set two Lippo Group consultants, Taryudi and Fitra Djaja Purnama, as well as Lippo Group employee Henry Jasmen as the bribe suspects.
KPK suspected they gave the fee commitment of Rp13 billion to Bekasi Regent Neneng Hasanah Yasin and four Bekasi District Administration officials to expedite the permit process of the first phase of the Meikarta development. The realized fee amounted to Rp7 billion.
