TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan said that the homeownership program without down payment or zero rupiah DP is still in progress. However, Anies did not want to deliver the details to the journalists.

“If there is no news, it does not mean that there is no progress, if we don’t announce it, it doesn’t mean it’s not done. It’s still ongoing, it’s just that if we tell it a lot, what is being done?” Anies said in Ancol, Thursday, September 6.

Anies said that people no need to worry about the implementation of the program. “I feel that there will be a lot of solutions later,” said Anies.

The latest news about the program is the groundbreaking of zero rupiah DP housing construction in the Klapa Village area, Jalan H. Naman, Pondok Kelapa, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, on January 18, which is planned to be completed next year.

In April, Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno, stated that the regulation concerning the institution, namely the technical implementing unit (UPT) of zero rupiah DP house, had been signed by Anies Baswedan.

However, for the financing scheme, there was no governor's regulation that regulated it. As a result, the marketing of the zero rupiah DP house could not be done yet.
