Prabowo Optimistic Gerindra to Win West Java Regional Election

TEMPO.CO, Bogor - Gerindra Party chairman Prabowo Subianto is optimistic the ticket proposed by his party will collect the highest votes in the West Java Regional Election 2018 (Pilkada).
“Thank God, the public has become more aware [of participating in the election], their votes will determine their leader for the next five years,” said Prabowo after cast his vote at TPS 17, Bojong Koneng, Bogor, West Java today, June 27.
He hopes the series of process of the simultaneous regional elections will run well and safely. “And the people will get a good leader,” Prabowo added.
In the West Java Regional Election 2018 (Pilkada), Gerindra proposed Sudrajat - Ahmad Syaikhu ticket. Meanwhile, the party proposed Ade Yasin - Iwan Setiawan ticket for Bogor Regent.
Prabowo Subianto came to the voting location (TPS) at around 10:30.
