Densus 88 Findings After Raiding Terrorists Location in Tangerang

TEMPO.CO, Tangerang - The National Police’s Densus 88 anti-terror squad seized some evidence from the raids in three houses of the suspected Tangerang terrorists, members of the Jamaah Ansharut Daulah (JAD) network. Head of Public Relations Division Inspector General Setyo Wasisto said no explosives or bombs were found in the raid.
“No [explosives or bombs] yet," he said at National Police Headquarters in South Jakarta, Wednesday, May 16.
Setyo mentioned the seized evidence is a number of documents, notes, mobile phones, and motorcycles. It was seized from the three members of JAD Jakarta with initials MC, G, and A.
However, Setyo said, the Densus 88 team is still doing the development in chasing the network of the suspected terrorists. Police also searched, whether the JAD Jakarta network stores explosives or bombs.
"The team is still doing the [case] development," he said.
Setyo mentioned the three suspected terrorists were arrested at a house on Jalan Gempol Raya inhabited by five family members. Every day, the house serves the service of jeans tailor.
After the raid, Densus 88 moved to the second search location in Duta Bintaro Cluster. The third raid was conducted at Kunciran Mas Permai.
"So the raids are on three crime scenes," he said.
Setyo said, in addition to arrest the three men of the suspected terrorist, Densus 88 brought one woman to be examined.
