TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Electronics ID card (e-KTP) bribery suspect Made Oka Masagung was unable to answer to the Corruption Eradication Commission's (KPK) summons for questioning. The suspect claims to be ill, KPK said.
"The doctors from the National Brain Center Hospital said that the patient requires a week of rest from March 28 until April 3," KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah said on Monday, April 2.

This is the second time Made Oka failed KPK's summons. On March 28, the former boss of Gunung Agung also failed to show up for examination, citing illness.
Febri said the KPK will summon Made Oka again in two days. "The examination is rescheduled for Wednesday, April 4, 2018," he said.
KPK named Made Oka as a suspect in the e-KTP bribery scandal on February 28. He is accused of having acted as the intermediary that delivered kickback money for Setya Novanto.

Made Oka Masagung is alleged to have disbursed the money through two companies, PT Delta Energy and Singapore-based OEM Investment.
Both companies allegedly kept the US$3.8 million for some time before giving it to Setya. The money is part of the US$7.3 million graft money—supposedly a fee or reward for the former House Speaker's role in the e-KTP procurement.
