Solo - Ngawi Toll Road Ready to Operate During Eid Holiday

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Solo-Ngawi Toll Road construction project until the end of March has reached 90 percent. It is targeted to complete in April so it can be operated during Eid holidays this year.


“So far, the road construction process has reached 90 percent and the construction of the completion phase continues,” said Director of Jasa Marga Solo - Ngawi David Wijayanto in Ngawi, East Java, Tuesday, March 27


According to David, the main part has been completed while the overpass is still in progress.

His team still continues to accelerate and complete the construction. He targeted it will be ready before Eid.


“For Solo to Sragen, it will hopefully be ready next month and from Sragen to Ngawi, will be ready ahead of Eid,” said David.


Solo-Ngawi Toll Road has five Toll Gates (GT), namely GT Kartasura (Ngasem), GT Solo (Klodran), GT Karanganyar (Kebakkramat), GT Sragen (Pungkruk) and GT Ngawi (Ngawi City).


The Solo-Ngawi Toll Road is part of the Solo-Ngawi-Kertosono Toll Road which is part of the Trans Java Toll Road. It is built by Solo Ngawi Jaya (PT SNJ) or Jasa Marga's subsidiary Jasa Marga Solo Ngawi.
