Earlier, Jakarta Ombudsman revealed the findings of Jakarta administration regulation on the Tanah Abang reorganization yesterday. The Task Executor Dominikus Dalu explained four items of maladministration by the city administration in executing its policy of street vendor (PKL) reorganization.

Dominikus demanded the city official to revise the policy by restoring the initial function of Jl. Jatibaru Raya within the next 60 days. He explained, the LAHP was an investigation result, but it might be a recommendation had no improvement is taken.

“The recommendation has a higher legal force, so Jakarta officials have to obey it,” said Dominikus.

The Ministry of Home affair planned to summon Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan if he ignored the recommendation by Ombudsman regarding the reorganization of Tanah Abang, as stated by Soni Sumarsono, the ministry’s Director General of Regional Autonomy.
