Kamis, 1 Januari 1970 07:00 WIB
TEMPO.CO , Jakarta - Brebes Disaster Mitigation team has displaced 666 residents of Capar Village as the land soil in the area is not stable and the precipitation is relatively high.
Brebes Military District Command 0713, Lieutenant Colonel Ahmad Hadi in Brebes on Monday (25/2) stated that high intensity of rainfall and unstable soil in Capar Village can pose threat to the residents.
"Thank God most of residents of Capar Village have been displaced to safer grounds," he said.
He mentioned that disaster mitigation team will keep on monitoring the weather in Capar Village to prevent them from returning when rainfall intensity is still high.
"The residents are allowed to return when the weather permits. However, at night when rain falls, they need to return to their shelters," he continued.
