Rizieq Shihab`s Return Uncertain, Police Keep Preparing Security

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Public Relations of Jakarta Police Commissioner Argo Yuwono confirmed that his institution has not received official information about the return of Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) leader Rizieq Shihab.


“The lawyers also denied to not going home on February 21,” said Argo, Wednesday, February 21.

Argo said that Rizieq's return from Mecca to Indonesia came from the mass media. For that, Jakarta Police will prepare personnel to secure the arrival of Rizieq at Soekarno-Hatta Airport. Police also prepare a security pattern in accordance with the provisions of operating procedures.


Previously circulated information said Rizieq will return to Indonesia on February 21. It is showed the tickets of Saudi Arabian Airlines that will be used by Rizieq. But until now, no one can confirm when will Rizieq Shihab land at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
