4 Jakarta Night Entertainment Spots around Presidential Palace

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The investigative report featured in Tempo Magazine that was conducted since January 2018 shows that prostitution businesses in Jakarta are not just practiced by Alexis alone.
These types of adult nighttime business contribute Rp769.5 billion in tax revenue and are so blatant and barely touched by the law, despite numerous violations that keep going on such as the operational hours until the human trafficking issues.
According to the Former Chairman of the Night Entertainment Association Anhar Nasution, prostitution practices happen in almost every night entertainment spots. “Alexis is just one of them,” said Anhar to Tempo’s investigative reporter.

There are around 600 entertainment businesses that can serve the 'various' needs of customers in the area just a stone-throw away from the President Jokowi’s Presidential Palace and Jakarta City Hall where Governor Anies Baswedan works.
Other than Alexis, these are the four night-entertainment businesses that are considered to be not too far from the country’s major government establishments in Jakarta. Tempo investigative team alleges these places offer sexual services.
1. Emporium Hotel in Pecenongan Raya, Central Jakarta. (1 kilometer from the Presidential Palace).
2. Malio Hotel in Gajah Mada Street, Central Jakarta. (1.1 Kilometers from the Presidential Palace).
3. Classic Hotel in Samanhudi Street, Sawah Besar, North Jakarta. (1.9 Kilometers from the Presidential Palace).
4. Illigals Hotel & Club in Hayam Wuruk Tower, Hayam Wuruk Street, West Jakarta. (2.5 Kilometers from the Presidential Palace).
