TEMPO.CO, Tangerang - A landslide at the tunnel or underpass of South Perimeter in Soekarno-Hatta Airport buried a car with two female passengers, Gianti and Mutmainah.
The first female was saved at about 3:15 am, on Tuesday, February 6 and was brought to Tangerang Hospital.
The rescue team are still trying to evacuate the second female. There were three excavators, four ambulance units and fire trucks sent to the site.
The landslide occurred on Monday evening at around 17:45 local time. At 18:20, heavy equipments came to the location. At around 6:30 pm, the team from Basarnas (rescue team), the Indonesian Red Cross, and ambulances came to help with the evacuation.
Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police Chief Senior Commissioner Ahmad Yusep Gunawan said the South Perimeter Road is temporarily closed for any vehicles.
