TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) revoked an early warning of tsunami caused by an earthquake in Tasikmalaya around 2.5 hours after the earthquake. The revocation was resulted from National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) not receiving any reports of tsunami.

“Tsunami does not occur across the southern coast of West Java, Central Java, East Java and Yogyakarta,” BNPB spokesperson revealed on Saturday, Dec. 16.
