TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State-owned airport operator PT Angkasa Pura II will adopt cashless parking at Soekarno-Hatta Airport starting December 1. “To avoid congestion, we will have a trial run and dissemination for a month,” spokesman Dewandono Prasetyo Nugroho said yesterday.
Cashless parking will be rolled out fully in early 2018 at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Prasetyo said.
Users can pay for parking using cashless e-payment cards issued by state-owned and private lenders, including Bank Mandiri’s E-money, BRI’s Brizzi, BNI’s Tap Cash and BCA’s Flash.
Cashless payment at Soekarno-Hatta Airport is aimed at supporting the government’s program called the Non-Cash National Movement (GNNT), Prasetyo said.
During the trial run, users may buy e-payment cards on the spot, at the Soekarno Hatta Airport. Special counters will be available to top-up e-payment accounts.
