Anies Sets Up Task Force to Speed Up Thousand Islands Development

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan will develop Thousand Islands Regency by establishing a task force to expedite its development.
"We have to provide equal opportunities to the people to achieve prosperity," he said in Pramuka Island on Saturday (11/11).
Anies continued that marginalized society should be raised and Thousand Islands must not be considered as a problem.
The Governor also instructed Thousand Islands Regent Irmansyah to formulate the expected development.
"All agencies must be on board. I want to see progress next year," he emphasized.
In addition, the Governor also received a lot of complaints and demands from the people. All of the problems will be ranked and organized based on priority, so that all problems can be resolved.
"We will prioritize Thousand Islands," he stated.
Meanwhile Thousand Islands Regent Irmansyah mentioned that his area will propose a new city branding "Island of Love".
"We want to make Thousand Islands the best tourism destination in Jakarta," he explained.
