TEMPO.CO, London - Singer Ed Sheeran was taken to a hospital yesterday after being hit by a car while riding his bike in London. Suffering a broken arm, Ed uploaded a photo of his hand covered with gypsum plaster arm on Instagram.

“Ive had a bit of a bicycle accident and I’m currently waiting on some medical advice, which may affect some of my upcoming shows. Please stay tuned for further news,” Ed Sheeran told his 15 million followers.

The extent of his injury is still unknown but his tour might be in doubt following the incident as he typically uses his hand to play guitar in his concerts.

The 26-year-old ginger-haired man embarked on a world tour in March and is currently on a break. The singer of “Shape of You” will resume his tour on October 22 and will be performing until November 2018.

Ed Sheeran has been on a global tour to promote his third album “Divide” that sold 600,000 copies in the UK in its first week of release, making it the fastest-selling album by a male of all time and the third fastest behind Adele’s “25” and Oasis’ “Be Here Now”.
