Kim Jong-Un Says N. Korea will Launch More Missiles

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - North Korea leader Kim Jong-un said there will be more missile launched over the Pacific. This plan is part of its latest weapons test program.
Government media, the Korean Central News Agency cited Kim as saying that "more ballistic rocket launching drills with the Pacific as a target in the future" were necessary.

The statement was Kim's first since North Korea sent a missile over Japan's main islands on August 29.
According to Kim, that launch was a prelude to Guam as well as North Korea's "resolute countermeasures" against the joint military exercises between The US and South Korea, which the North sees as a practice for an invasion.

Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said the missile launch was a serious and grave threat.
The UN Security Council, which has issued sanctions against Pyongyang, said the ballistic missile launch over Japan's main island was not just a threat to the Pacific region, but also a threat to all UN members.
