TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Former House of Representatives (DPR) member Rindoko Dahono Wingit denied any involvement in the electronic ID card (e-KTP) graft. Rindoko was summoned by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) today as a witness for Setya Novanto, the main suspect in e-KPT case.
Rindoko also denied ever meeting Novanto and said he was still a member of the DPR's Commission III when the e-KTP project took place.

He said he only entered Commission II in 2013. Commission II is a partner committee of the Home Affairs Ministry, whose task was to discuss the approval of the e-KTP project budget.
When Rindoko entered the commission, he said, the whole discussion of the e-ID card project budget had ended.
Rindoko also denied ever dealing with Setya Novanto, who was Golkar Party faction's chairman in the DPR at that time. He claimed he never met Setya.
"No. Never. I never had dealings with him. We were just members," he said.
Rindoko's name surfaced in the indictments of suspects Irman and Sugiharto. He was said to have received money from the e-KTP project as the Gerindra Faction chairman at the DPR's Commission II.
In the indictment, the prosecutor said that each faction chairman at Commission II at that time received US$37,000.
