Trump, First American President with The Lowest Popularity

TEMPO.CO, Washington - The level of public acceptance to US President, Donald Trump, hit a low during the first six months of his term. This is based on a CNN latest survey that was launched Tuesday, August 8, 2017.


CNN survey results concluded as much as 38% of respondents still approve of how Trump runs the government. But much more; 56% of respondents disagree.


He became the first US president with the lowest public acceptance rate in the first six months of his term, and was second to Bill Clinton who levels below 50%. Clinton himself was in a better position, Clinton had a 44% approval by the citizens in the same period in 1993.


With regard to the White House, two-thirds of Americans no longer trust what they hear from the White House.

Regarding information from the White House, only 24% of Americans believe in what comes out of the White House, whereas 30% say they do not believe it.


Trump's enthusiasm also plunged where nearly half of the polls voted strongly against the way Trump ran the government, 47%. While those who are positive-minded only accounted for 24%.


Even the decline in support is also happening in the mass base of the Republicans. Acceptance of Trump fell from 73% in February to 58% for the week.


Among the uneducated white citizens who support Trump's core, only 35% still support the way he governs, or 12% lower from February.


At the same time disagreements from the Democrats reach 80%.


The perception that the president will bring change is also dimming, with only 43% assessing Trump will make changes to the US, or 48% lower in April.


While those who view Donald Trump will effectively run the government is currently only 38%, whereas last April was still 44%.
