"The power plant will provide an additional supply of electricity amount into 780 MW or equal to supplying 5 million households,” said PT. Indonesia Power President Director Sripeni Inten Cahyani on Saturday, July 15.
"This power plant is one of the implementations of the government’s 35,000 MW electricity project,” said, adding that the project is worth Rp4.8 trillion.
Sripeni added that the power plant would be built on land that already has a power plant so there will be no issue when it comes to a land clearing.
